This could be one of the most interesting weeks I have had for a long time.
Monday night: dinner with my friend Amber Atherton of Myflashtrash for a collaboration to create a new online magazine. We went to Soho House and I was having a great time. In the photo below Amber wearing one of my necklaces from The Boyfriends in the cover of the Daily Mail. This time she was wearing our Pocahontas Boyfriend.
On Friday I had a meeting with the fashion editor in chief of the most important spanish newspaper El Mundo. Rafa came to my studio in East London to interview me for a possible article in the newspaper. We had brunch and also talked about my collaboration with the english reality show Made in Chelsea, about my new collection and he ended up telling me all about this magazine he has created called Fake, with a fun layout simulating Hello magazine. I could tell in just a few hours that Rafa has an amazing talent and I learnt a lot from this meeting.
Yesterday I went to the exhibition ¨Love is what you Want¨ by Tracey Enim at Hayward Gallery in London. Her work is very autobiographical and even though it has a few bad critics I loved it. I loved her blanket pieces and the use of stitching in her signature. The exhibition is dedicated to her love, her sexuality and some of her lovers. I could learnt she is really a hardworking person, with a sense of humor and an innate talent. I found it really interesting. For all of you coming or living in London you can see the exhibition at Hayward Gallery until mid August.
Some photos of Tracey Emin art.
And this week's features: a photo of Amber in the cover of The Daily Mail ,
Once upon a time, in one magical land lived an enchanted doll house adorned with jewels, moustache necklaces, human rings, bracelets, and mystical talking creatures who danced otherworldly to the sound of music…
I’ve always wanted to have an ethereal and magical house,
enchanted by its beauty.
I would of imagined endless stories, played with her graceful charm and
embellished her with my jewels, or decorate it in my mind
with classic furniture, velvet curtains and scented candles.
Dreaming at the possibility of walking in my doll house, barefoot, with my floral long
dress, feeling the breeze and the light of the music, dancing and looking curious
through the windows to find out who lives on my childhood palace, where there are
only happy endings, where all your dreams come true. Where the crazy are geniuses
and the geniuses are happy spirits.

I never though I was going to write about the Royal wedding because I am not a wedding person at all but this was a special one. I loved Kate and Prince William balcony kisses along with ¨you look stunning, babe ¨ , the amazing Burton's dress, the ¨just married¨ getaway moment in Prince Charles's 1969 Aston Martin, and all this romantic scenes that I will never forget and I'd love to have on my wedding day.
Everyone was celebrating in the streets, there were hundreds of street parties going on and you could feel the romance and the love was in the air. I felt so patriotic even though I am from Spain, and had the best time while watching the wedding; making lemon cakes and pastries, gossiping with my friends about the dresses and the romantic scenes, and celebrating all night long at the best parties in the city.
Unforgettable moments that made me realise that romance isn't dead.
The following week I made this little fairy illustration. First ilustration I am with my sexy royal dog who is wearing stockings and same jumpsuit as me (copycat!). Second photo I am leaving this castle where the fairy little skulls salute me, and third illustration I am dancing in this amazing garden , with lots of flowers, insects and british buttlerflies.
The jumpsuit is from Desmoines at The Lazy Ones, bag vintage and sunglasses Rayflector Uk.
